The Road Less Traveled

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh

I attended and sang at Jeanne Pasmore's funeral this morning. The message was wonderful. The road less traveled.....Jeanne took the road less traveled....."and that has made all the difference..."
I wonder if when I'm faced with two paths in the future, will I choose the one less traveled. Will I choose the easy and safe road? Will I choose the comfort of the now?
I hope I listen to God's voice and follow Him where he leads even if it's into the unknown road less traveled. We never know until we're at the crossroads. In the meantime, I'll try and prepare myself for the journey!

In the time that I have known you I have seen you take the path less traveled. You have shown great courage and great determination in your endeavors.

I believe you are already on it, dear sister. you don't "have" to stand up for children. you don't "have" to fight for their rights. you don't "have" to speak up. you don't "have" to take action. you are on the road less traveled. be blessed.
